Design, Cutting and Tailoring

Programme Purpose

To equip the trainees with knowledge, skills, and attitudes in designing, cutting, and tailoring to enable them competently perform in both, the formal and informal sector of the clothing industry.

Programme Objectives

On completion of the programme, trainees will be able to:

• Record measurements accurately
• Draft Patterns
• Sew high quality garments
• Use tools and equipment correctly
• Construct patterns to scale
