Bricklaying and Plastering
Programme Purpose
The purpose of the programme is to equip the trainees with knowledge, skills, and appropriate attitudes to build structures and fit door and window frames and apply finishes at the work place.
Programme Objectives
On completion of the programme, trainees will be able to:
- Observe occupational health and safety in the workplace
- Construct building structures and associated works.
- Use trade tools, equipment and materials appropriately
- Apply entrepreneurial skills into bricklaying and plastering
- Fit doors and window frame according to specifications
- Carry-out wall plastering, jointing and pointing according to requirements
- Communicate effectively and efficiently
